Medicare Advantage Plans in North Carolina 2027: Carriers, Counties and Plan Types

North Carolina has one of the most competitive Medicare Advantage markets in the Southeast. Devoted Health sells the most plans in the state, UnitedHealthcare and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina cover all 100 counties, and local plans like HealthTeam Advantage and Troy Medicare compete in the Piedmont.

For 2027, CMS’s plan data lists 176 individual Medicare Advantage plans from 16 companies across all 100 North Carolina counties. Annual Enrollment runs October 15 to December 7, 2026, for coverage that starts January 1, 2027.
