Medicare Advantage Plans in Tennessee 2027: Carriers, Counties and the Wellcare Exit

Tennessee’s Medicare Advantage market is shifting for 2027. Wellcare is leaving the state, while Devoted Health now sells more plans in Tennessee than any other company. BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, UnitedHealthcare, Humana and Wellpoint all sell plans in every county.

For 2027, CMS’s plan data lists 153 individual Medicare Advantage plans from 12 companies across all 95 Tennessee counties. Annual Enrollment runs October 15 to December 7, 2026, for coverage that starts January 1, 2027.
